1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Pinnacle Weddings ("Pinnacle," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Pinnacle Weddings website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, subscribing to a paid plan, or using the Service in any way, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of the Service
Pinnacle Weddings is a software-as-a-service platform that helps couples and wedding planners organize wedding planning activities, including but not limited to budget tracking, guest lists, RSVP management, vendor management, timelines, seating charts, wedding websites, PDF exports, and optional AI-assisted planning tools.
We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time. Feature availability may depend on your subscription tier (Free, Premium, or Pro). We will use reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of material changes that negatively affect paid subscribers.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
4. Account Registration and Security
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and keep your account information updated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@pinnacleweddings.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security or legal risk.
5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Payments
Paid plans (Premium and Pro) are billed on a recurring monthly basis through Stripe, our payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for the applicable fees and taxes.
Prices are listed on our Pricing page. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before the change applies to your next billing cycle. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date. You may cancel anytime from Settings or through the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods. See our Subscription & Billing Terms for additional detail.
Failure to pay may result in downgrade to the Free plan, suspension of paid features, or termination of your account.
6. Free Plan
The Free plan is offered at no charge with feature and usage limits (including a guest list cap). We may modify Free plan limits with reasonable notice.
We reserve the right to discontinue the Free plan or any feature with at least 30 days' notice where practicable.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Upload, store, or transmit malware, spam, or content that is defamatory, harassing, obscene, or infringes third-party rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service except as permitted by law.
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties without our written consent.
- Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial messages to guests without appropriate consent.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using public RSVP or wedding website features.
8. Your Content and Data
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service, including wedding details, guest information, vendor contracts, notes, and uploaded files ("User Content").
You grant Pinnacle a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, display, and transmit User Content solely to provide and improve the Service, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.
You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit User Content and that doing so does not violate any third party's rights or applicable privacy laws.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of User Content and for obtaining any consents required from guests, vendors, or other individuals whose data you store in the Service.
9. Guest Data and Privacy Responsibilities
When you collect guest information through Pinnacle (including via RSVP forms, guest lists, or wedding websites), you are typically the data controller for that guest data and Pinnacle acts as a data processor on your behalf.
You must provide guests with appropriate privacy notices, obtain required consents, and comply with applicable data protection laws (including GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and CAN-SPAM where applicable).
Our Guest Data Notice and Data Processing Addendum describe how we process guest data on your behalf. By using guest-related features, you agree to those documents where applicable.
10. Public Wedding Websites and RSVP Pages
You may publish wedding websites, announcement pages, and RSVP forms with public URLs. You control what information is displayed and who may access password-protected pages.
Public pages may be indexed by search engines unless you use password protection or other controls we provide.
You are responsible for content published on your public pages and for ensuring guests understand how their RSVP responses will be used.
11. AI Planner and Contract Checker
Pro features including the AI Planner and Contract Checker provide automated, rule-based analysis and suggestions based on your wedding data. These tools are for informational and organizational purposes only.
They do not constitute legal, financial, tax, or professional advice. Contract analysis does not replace review by a qualified attorney. AI suggestions require your review and approval before you act on them.

12. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, documentation, and underlying technology, is owned by Pinnacle or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal or internal wedding planning purposes.
You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written permission, except as permitted by our wedding website "Powered by" attribution.
13. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party providers including Supabase (hosting and database), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and optionally Resend (email). Your use of those services may be subject to their terms.
We are not responsible for third-party services, links on your wedding website, or vendor contracts you enter outside the Service.
14. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that data will never be lost. You are responsible for maintaining backups of important information, including exported guest lists and PDF binders.
Wedding planning involves significant personal and financial decisions. We do not guarantee wedding outcomes, vendor performance, budget accuracy, or RSVP response rates.
16. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PINNACLE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO PINNACLE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
17. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pinnacle from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your User Content, your use of public RSVP or website features, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
18. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting us or using account deletion options when available.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or legal requirements. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
19. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property or unauthorized access. You waive any right to participate in a class action.
If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that prohibits mandatory arbitration or class action waivers, those provisions may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by law.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect for existing users.
Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and cancel any paid subscription.
